I loved arriving in a water taxi tothe door of the hotel. The views from the room were wonderful.
The breakfast could have been a little more special.
Front desk staff very helpful and friendly, on a beautiful canal, we stayed in the room late every day as the sun was coming in and the view was great.
The reception personnel were always extremely helpful. They were able to provide information, good tips for visits to Venetian landmarks and to spectacles. The decor of the bedrooms is extremely pleasant and has a distinctive character from Venetian elegance. The location is perfect. Just 200 meters from Saint Mark's square.
The hotel is very nice, romantic and comfortable. The room we had was very spacious with old Venetian Decor - it was quite impressing. The staff of the hotel is very polite, with good knowledge of English. The hotel is very close to St. Marco and actually to all other places of interest in Venice.
The breakfast is in another hotel, so you have to walk to another building. If you want breakfast into your room you'll be charged 10 Euro per person ((. We also did not like the restaurant the hotel recommends for dinner and gives a discount of 15%. We would never recommend to visit this restaurant (it almost opposite the hotel). They charge for "coperto" 3.50 Euro each and then also charge 12% for the service, which was just terrible I must admit. We were treated like customers in a fast food restaurant but paid quite a good sum. The waiters were not nice with us at all from the moment we entered the restaurant till the very last moment we left this horrible place. The food was OK, but the attitude which comes with it spoiled all the impression. So people, our advice is to chose some other restaurant but not the one the hotel offers the discount for. You'll spend quite a good amount of money and will receive bad attitude and mere disrespect in turn.
it is so close to San Marco square! No matter which direction you walk, there is something interesting to see..little shops, museums, historic site...
The location was central and the view very nice.
The breakfast was very poor.
The front desk were not helpful in booking anything, the hairdryer did not work and the bathtub jacuzzi did not work and there was no internet. We booked there and paid almost 300 euros per night for these luxuries. They did not exist!! We were sent to another hotels lobby to make tour reservations and for internet!! Waste of time!! Go somewhere else!!!
Not same as mentioned on Booked.net home page. No internet and no rooms like the picture. It was a simple room what I get and not a junior suite.
The first room we stayed in was very lovely, with a very high ceiling and beautiful architecture, elegant victorian style furniture, and a very nice bathroom.
Upon checking in and inquiring about a posted note about inremental water service, I was assured it was fixed. The next morning, we quickly learned it was not, as the water was very cold. I wasted two hours while the staff led me to believe someone was coming to fix it before they finally told me it was a holiday and no one was coming. They later suggested that we walk down the street and shower in their sister hotel. I showered in the cold water. I convinced them to move us to their sister hotel, which was utterly disappointing. I asked about the AC as it was a hot day, and the manager showed me the controls. Upon accepting the room, we discovered the AC did not work, but again were assured the problem was going to be fixed. It never did.
The staff were excellent Location perfect
wery frıendly.good locatıon,good servıce....
The location was very central and ideal for a stay in Venice. This was intended to be a luxury part of our trip to Italy and it lived up to the expectation.
The central location also meant that the room was noisy at night. Whilst that was OK for us, it may not suit all people. Also, the room had a view of the Bridge of Sighs, but this was covered for restoration, which wasn't advised by the hotel.
Loved the room, loved the view, loved the location. This is a great hotel right behind St. Mark's. The staff is awesome. The breakfast brought daily to room is a nice touch. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
My only complaint is the noise level. You can hear all the people walking by and talking. This is no fault of the hotel and something you have to put up with if you want to be by St. Marks.
1. The form for the room-service breakfast was filled-in and hanged-up on the outside of the door in the evening. 7 o'clock in morning (we were still sleeping) the phone rung and the receiptionist informed that we didn't filled the breakfast form. He proposed to get the order over the phone. I gave the order. When breakfast was delivered only coffee and tea were corresponding to the order the rest was a total improvisation. Later the we found that the same game was played with our neigbours. 2. The safe-box in the room didn't work and the hotel staff cuoldn't fix it.
Our stay in Venice & your hotel was truly a magical experience. We arrived at night via private taxi from Marco Polo Airport & were transferred straight to the hotel door. Entry into the hotel room continued this magical experience. The staff were courteous & informative. The position of this hotel is excellent for getting around all the beautiful sights Venice has to offer, not to mention the shops & the restaurants. We would certainly stay there again & have already recommended your hotel to friends.
